In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day, The Vampire Diaries‘ Kat Graham, comedian Margaret Cho, athletes Chris Kluwe and Brendan Ayanbedejo, and more celebs participated in a public service announcement on suicide prevention.

In the video, the participants all take the “Talk to Me” pledge, encouraging everyone to respect each other regardless of sexuality, to pledge to listen seriously to someone contemplating suicide, and to call the Trevor lifeline (866-488-7386) when they or someone they know needs help.

The video was created by online news show What’s Trending in conjunction with The Trevor Project, which “is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24,” according to the Trevor website.
