Kanye West performs 'Bound 2' on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'
“You can feel it in the building!” says a giddy Jimmy Fallon, grinning like he was the one who thought of that whole “worst twerk fail” thing.
The “it” in question is, of course, Kanye West’s very own je ne sais quoi. Last night on Late Night, Yeezus himself showed up for a previously unannounced appearance — enlisting The Roots, Charlie Wilson (not that one), a chorus of apple-cheeked children, and one major kilt to help him perform his new song “Bound 2” live for the very first time. (Sample lyrics: “I know I got a bad reputation/Walking ’round, always mad reputation/Leave a pretty girl sad reputation/Start a fight club, Brad reputation.” Also some stuff about having sex on a sink and getting… something on the mink. Gross, Kanye.)
As Fallon noted, tickets for West’s upcoming Yeezus Tour go on sale this Friday. Get ’em while they’re playful in performance but totally sullen in person!
