A&E is getting out The Glades.

The low-buzz yet sturdy Florida-set crime drama has been axed by the cable network after four seasons. The most recent edition averaged 2.6 million viewers on Monday nights. Fun fact: The Glades was the first A&E scripted series to last more than one season.

On the bright side for A&E, it’s looking like semi-struggling new drama Longmire will get a third season. Nothing is official yet, but co-creator John Coveny tweeted yesterday “SEASON 3 for #Longmire is a GO!” So that sounds pretty confident.
