The Hunger Games

In 100 days, the box-office will catch fire with the second Hunger Games movie opening around the world on Nov. 22. But the spark for Catching Fire will begin Nov. 11 when the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster has its world premiere in London — forevermore known as The Capitol.

In the next chapter of Suzanne Collins’ epic adventure, Katniss and Peeta embark on a victory tour of Panem’s districts after winning the Hunger Games. They quickly learn that their achievement and, in particular, what Katniss has come to represent, is now viewed as a threat by the oppressive regime run by President Snow. Jennifer Lawrence returns as Katniss, along with Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.

Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) is in the director’s chair, taking the reins from Gary Ross.
