• George Clooney and Judy Greer have been working together for over 14 years: First in 1999’s Three Kings, then in 2011’s The Descendents, and now, they may be re-teaming for Disney’s Tomorrowland. Directed by Brad Bird with a script from Damon Lindelof and EW’s own Jeff Jensen, the secretive project also stars Hugh Laurie and Britt Robinson. Greer has made a career of playing quirky character roles and best friend parts in romantic comedies since she broke out in 1999 with the dark comedy Jawbreaker and the aforementioned Three Kings. As for what’s next, Greer has a role in the Carrie update with Julianne Moore and Chloe Moretz, which hits theaters Oct. 18, and is currently filming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. [Deadline]

Fresh off his turn as Jeff Buckley in the indie Greetings from Tim Buckley, Gossip Girl alum Penn Badgley is set to join Ethan Hawke and Ed Harris in Cymbeline as Posthumus, Cymbeline’s (Harris) son-in-law. Badgley hasn’t had many projects on the books since wrapping up Gossip Girl, but will be appearing alongside Alexis Bledel, Teresa Palmer, and Rosario Dawson in the romantic drama Parts Per Billion, about relationships in the midst of a biological disaster, which should be released sometime in 2014. • Charlotte Le Bon, a french actress and model, who recently appeared in Michel Gondry’s Mood Indigo, has joined the cast of Lasse Hallstrom’s adaptation of the best-selling Richard Morais book The Hundred-Foot Journey. Oprah and Steven Spielberg are producing the movie, which also stars Helen Mirren and Manish Dayal. [TheWrap]

30 Rock alum Cheyenne Jackson, who recently appeared in Behind the Candelabra as Billy Leatherwood, is set to join Opening Night — a small comedy about all the drama surrounding the premiere performance of a high school production of Midsummer Night’s Dream. Anthony Rapp, whose credits include Rent and Dazed and Confused, has also joined the cast. Jack Henry Robbins (Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon’s son) is set to make his feature narrative debut on the project. [Deadline]

• Mimi Rogers (Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Hope Springs) will join Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings) and Chris Mulkey (The Purge) in The Surface, a thriller from director Gil Cates Jr. (a co-producer on Jobs) about two strangers who encounter one another in the middle of Lake Michigan, somehow. Rogers will appear in flashbacks. [Deadline]

• Gina Carano is a bit of a trailblazer it seems. Now, Ronda Rousey, an Ultimate Fighting Champion, is in talks to join James Wan’s take on Fast & Furious 7 after she finishes filming The Expendables 3, of course. [Variety]
