Earlier this month on the BBC, Robin Thicke treated the Radio 1 Live Lounge audience to a spare, loungey performance of Icona Pop’s “I Love It.” In other words, the singer with the top song on both sides of the pond sings one of the other hottest singles of the summer. Seems like an easy recipe for a good time, yes?

Yes! And, for the sake of verisimilitude, he even switches the lyrics around to “I’m from the ’70s, and you’re a ’90s chick,” because it would be weird if he didn’t.
