Peril Coming for Killing‘s Linden
Midway through season 3 of The Killing, Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) have no shortage of suspects who may have murdered several women and possibly snatched a homeless girl. But as they close in on the suspected perp, Linden will get a little too close and Pastor Mike (Ben Cotton) ”turns the tables,” says executive producer Veena Sud, ”putting Sarah in the line of fire.”

POI‘s Carter Becomes a Target
Detective Carter (Taraji P. Henson) may have saved Mob boss Carl Elias (Enrico Colantoni) from being murdered in May’s Person of Interest season finale, but exec producer Greg Plageman says ”the ball has moved” when the CBS show returns in September. ”What’s going to be really interesting is how we approach her character next season and the fact that there are entities within the police force that do not want her around anymore.”

Awkward‘s Matty on the Prowl?
Jenna (Ashley Rickards) cheated on Matty (Beau Mirchoff) in Awkward‘s summer finale, a revelation that Mirchoff says will sting when his character finally finds out after the MTV show comes back later this year. ”I don’t know if Matty will ever be able to trust someone again,” he says. But Mirchoff adds that Matty may indeed mend his broken heart with a fresh romantic interest. ”Maybe [he] finds some new lovers,” the actor offers coyly.
