More 'Big Brother' racism caught on camera
Racism in the Big Brother house is still going strong. After last night’s episode of the CBS show, houseguest Aaryn — whose repeated racist remarks have made national news — was put on notice by Amanda that the other contestants were fed up with her hurtful comments. (Read all about it in our recap.)
But after the episode’s shocking elimination, the live-feed cameras showed that the controversy is far from over. According to a clip discovered by TMZ, late last night, a group of contestants — including Jessie, Jeremy, Candice, Aaryn, and GinaMarie — were getting ready for bed together in one of the rooms. Some kind of “prank” happened that had Candice’s mattress flipped over on the floor. When Candice, who is black, questioned what was happening, Aaryn egged her on, saying, “Whatchu gon do gurrl? Where’s yo class?” with GinaMarie chiming in, “You want the black to come out?”
Candice, becoming upset, was then carried out of the room by Howard, who is also black. The two had a heart-to-heart, during which Candice began to cry, saying, “I can’t take it anymore.”
