'Two and a Half Men' latest twist: Charlie's daughter is gay
Two and a Half Men will add a gay character this fall.
For the CBS hit comedy’s latest makeover, the show is adding Charlie Harper’s daughter for its 11th season. In a new revelation confirmed by EW, she’s described as a “sexy and gorgeous” 21-year-old lesbian who recently moved from New York to Los Angeles.
The character (not yet cast) is effectively replacing Jake played by Angus T. Jones, who will no longer be a series regular after infamously bashing the show, though is expected to recur next season (the official line: Jones wants to focus on attending college).
What do you think of the news? Is this a noble sign of prime-time diversity, or just a chance for Men to make girl-on-girl jokes?
