Lauryn Hill reports to prison for tax evasion
Lauryn Hill began serving her three-month sentence Monday for tax evasion, according to People.
The Grammy-winning singer and former member of The Fugees was found guilty of not paying almost $1 million in taxes. After serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut, Hill, 38, will also be subject to three months of house arrest.
A week ago, Hill posted a rambling letter on her Tumblr, riffing on racism, slavery, and her sentencing.
