Mischa Barton is not a fan The Bling Ring, Sofia Coppola’s summer flick about consumerism, excess and fame — or she’s not a fan of the idea of it, anyway, as she tweeted Wednesday.

The whole idea of this movie, granted, I haven’t seen it, creeps me out #theblingring . #undeserved

Barton — along with Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge and Lindsay Lohan — was idolized by the group of teens portrayed in the movie, who ended up burglarizing the homes of the stars they admired. She’s also name-dropped in the film, when one character mentions her 2008 DUI charge, and that didn’t sit well with her:

Barton, who made her name by playing Marissa Cooper on The O.C., has been under the radar lately with small TV roles and straight-to-DVD films. Perhaps The Bling Ring brings up some bad memories of her super-famous days?
