The Young and the Restless just found a second home. The Sony-produced sudser that airs on CBS daytime will also air on the TV Guide Network beginning July 1.

Same-day episodes of the CBS soap will air every weeknight on TVGN at 7 p.m. ET/PT, with repeat airings the following morning at 10 a.m. ET/PT. CBS now shares ownership of the TV Guide Network with Lionsgate. To prepare for Y&R’s debut, TVGN will air a one-hour special on June 17 featuring behind-the-scenes footage, set secrets and interviews with the cast of Y&R.

Soap fans used to be able to find repeats of their favorite shows on cable via SOAPnet until Disney decided to shutter the channel in January 2012, when it became Disney Junior. Since then, the soap world went in a state of upheaval: All My Children and One Life to Live moved off ABC and are now on The Online Network.
