Lisa Kudrow wrapped the final episode of Friends about nine years ago, and she’s now making her first return to multi-camera, studio audience TV since then, with her episode of Nickelodeon’s Wendell & Vinnie next week.

Kudrow’s involvement in the show was an opportunity to work with her close friend showrunner Jay Kogen, who she’s known since junior high school. She plays Natasha, a rival memorabilia collector to Vinnie (iCarly‘s Jerry Trainor).

“She used to be Vinnie’s boss. He apprenticed under Natasha. I think she’s a little bitter he’s gone off and done well without her,” Kudrow told EW.

During the episode, the show’s odd couple — goofball Vinnie and Wendell (Buddy Handleson), the very mature kid who came into Vinnie’s care after his parents’ unexpected death — learn a few lessons about lying.

That George Lopez jab? It’s a bit of an in-joke, a nod to Kogen’s resume, which includes George Lopez and other comedies like The Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle.

The episode also guest stars Thomas Lennon (17 Again) and Star Trek: The Next Generation alum Brent Spiner, who plays himself when Vinnie and Natasha are battling over the prop eyes of Spiner’s TNG character, Data. Below is an exclusive photo of Spiner on Wendell & Vinnie.

The Kudrow, Lennon, and Spiner episode will air on Nickelodeon Thursday, June 13 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
