NBC is picking up Parks and Recreation for another season.

The comedy will see a sixth season, as expected. Parks has averaged a 2.0 rating this year among adults 18-49, making it NBC’s strongest Thursday night show after The Office, which is wrapping its final season.

It’s crunch-time for the networks as they make their final scheduling decisions for next season before their upfront presentation to advertisers next week. NBC is first in line and announces its fall schedule on Sunday, so we’re expecting more news to come from the Peacock soon.
