After nearly a month of repeats, The CW’s Arrow and Supernatural returned Wednesday night to improved ratings.

Arrow was up 11 percent from its last original episode (though still lower than its average this season).

While Supernatural jumped 43 percent among adults 18-49 to its second most-watched episode of the season (2.4 million viewers). You can probable give at least some of the credit to guest star Felicia Day, who made her third appearance on the show last night as hacker-turned-hunter-in-training Charlie. For more, here’s Day talking to EW about the episode.

Otherwise, last night’s ratings were pretty dull, with a lot of repeats before May sweeps kick in. Fox’s American Idol and CBS’ Survivor were basically unchanged from last week. And ABC’s new comedy How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life keeps dropping, down 25 percent from last week.
