The Backstreet Boys were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday — the same week the quintet celebrated their 20th anniversary as a band. Yes, they’ve been around 20 years. (We just made you feel old.)

In those two decades, the band — best known for stealing our teen hearts with hits like 1997’s “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” and 1999’s “I Want It That Way” — has racked up numerous honors, broken sales records, and, naturally, had their fair share of fashion faux pas.

The five-some look back on the latter, however, with nothing but good humor. We know this because when we caught up with Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean, and Kevin Richardson this weekend at an event in Hollywood, we brought with us some photos of the band’s most questionable fashion moments. Here’s what they had to say…
