One week after paparazzi photos from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 set showed Jamie Foxx in bright neon-blue makeup, director Marc Webb has just tweeted a decidedly more official first look at the reboot-sequel’s baddie. In the film, Foxx plays the villain Electro, but the photo shows him in his civilian guise as Max Dillon, a nerdy engineer. How nerdy? Look at the photo:

The hair. Oh, that hair. In the background, there appears to be a Beautiful Mind-esque tracking map of Spider-Man, complete with newspaper articles and glamour shots of the wall-crawler. Presumably, Dillon is tracking Spider-Man for nefarious purposes.

But twist! Not long after Webb tweeted that image of Foxx, franchise newcomer (and Chronicle star) Dane DeHaan tweeted an image of himself as Goblin-to-be Harry Osborn. That photo is even less revealing, plotwise, but at least we know Harry’s a snappy dresser:
