Comic Book Guy is about to reunited with a comic book legend: Stan Lee will guest-star on an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, EW has learned.

The co-creator of such Marvel superheroes as Spider-Man, The Hulk, and The X-Men will play himself in an installment airing next season — the animated comedy’s 25th — in which Homer stands to ruin a blossoming relationship between Comic Book Guy and an attractive young Japanese woman/manga fan. Lee swings by Comic Book Guy’s store and doles out some advice on comics, romance, and, yes, romance comics.

The 90-year-old Lee, of course, is not a first-time visitor to Springfield: He popped up in The Android’s Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop in a season 13 episode. “Stan was a joy to work with once again,” Simpsons exec producer Al Jean tells EW, “and we look forward to having him back on the show in another twelve years.”

Seth MacFarlane, Aaron Sorkin, Gordon Ramsay and Joe Namath also have recorded roles for season 25, which begins in the fall on Fox.
