Take a trip to Westeros and capture the throne at 'Game of Thrones': The Exhibition
Here’s your chance to journey to the land of Westeros to capture the Iron Throne!
In anticipation of Game of Thrones season 3 (which premieres March 31), HBO has hit the road with a trove of costumes, props, weapons, and more original artifacts from the epic fantasy series. King Joffrey’s “Ice” and “Longclaw” swords, model dragons, suits of armor, and pieces from the elaborate wardrobe designed by Michele Clapton are just some of the items that represent the five main noble houses: Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon and Greyjoy. Fans can also participate in an interactive exhibit which places them in the Battle of Blackwater Bay, and pose for photos on an exact replica of the Iron Throne.
As you exit (through the gift shop) Game of Thrones collectible merchandise will be available for purchase.
The traveling exhibit, which kicked off in Toronto and is currently on display in New York City, will make additional stops in Sao Paolo, Amsterdam and Belfast. Watch a behind-the-scenes video tour of Game of Thrones: The Exhibition after the jump. The Buzz: Game of Thrones Exhibition
