In a Facebook Q&A with fans, Arrow star Stephen Amell confirms that he’s had a meeting to discuss the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. “I get questions about Christian Grey all the time. That project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it. Long way off,” he says in a video posted last night. “I mean, not that long, but not close. I wouldn’t call it long, but I wouldn’t call it close.”

Wrapping Arrow‘s first season next month, Amell is looking for a movie to do over his hiatus, he says in another video. But perhaps the most interesting of his responses was to a question about whether he fears being typecast. In short, he doesn’t. Here’s why: “One of the highest honors that you could have as an actor is to be typecast, because that means that you’ve done a significant amount of work in one specific realm. Anyone who’s worried about being typecast is really secretly upset that they haven’t worked enough….”
