Shake It Up co-star Zendaya Coleman took one giant leap onto the main stage last night with an impressive contemporary routine on Dancing With the Stars with partner Valentin Chmerkovsky. Sixteen-year-old Coleman, the youngest star to perform on the show, and Chmerkovsky scored a 24 (out of 30) and got high praise from the DanceMaster himself.

“Three words I never thought I’d say week one: That. Was. Great,” said Len Goodman.

Check out the routine below and see how Coleman responded to her army of Twitter followers’ support after the show.

How do you think all that social media support will translate to votes on next week’s results show? And with such great start, do you think she’ll go even further than previous Disney Channel stars on the show? Cody Linley (season 7) finished fourth, Kyle Massey (season 11) finished second, Chelsea Kane (season 12) finished third, Roshon Fegan (season 14) finished sixth, and Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan (season 15) finished eighth.
