'Arrow': Colton Haynes promoted to series regular for season 2

Get ready to see a lot more of Roy Harper.
The CW and Warner Bros. announced today that Colton Haynes, the former Teen Wolf actor who left the MTV series late last year to play Harper, has been promoted to a series regular. He will continue in a guest star role for the remainder of season 1 before taking on a larger role when the show returns in the fall.
Playing a teenager who has struck up a budding romance with Thea (Willa Holland), the younger sister of Oliver “Arrow” Queen (Steven Amell), Haynes joined the series just a few weeks ago. In the comic books, Harper eventually becomes the superhero’s sidekick Red Arrow.
