Bible Episode 2 Samson Delilah

The second week of History Channel’s The Bible miniseries may not have delivered the ratings rapture of the last week’s record-breaking premiere, but the two-hour telecast still had holier-than-thou numbers.

The Bible had 10.8 million total viewers Sunday night, down 18 percent from its premiere, with 3.2 million of those viewers adults 18-49.

Next week, the mini could get a ratings boost by the addition of a new fan-favorite character — Jesus Christ joins the show once The Bible gets into the New Testament. Now please try to avoid posting any spoilers in the comments, we haven’t read the book and don’t want to know how this all turns out.
