The comedy series starring podcasting comedian Marc Maron as himself will finally see the light of your television on May 3 at 10 p.m. ET, IFC announced today.

Based on Maron’s life and career, which includes his popular WTF podcast, the scripted Maron will depict “his day-to-day struggle to maintain relationships other than the ones with his podcast audience and his beloved trio of cats.” More specifically, the comedian will be seen “dating a dominatrix, sponsoring a recently sober ex-con, [and] tracking down an internet troll who blasts him on Twitter.”

The 10-episode series will be chock full of celebrity guests such as Adam Scott, Ken Jeong, Mark Duplass, Gina Gershon, Eric Stoltz, Denis Leary, Dave Foley, Illeana Douglas, Aubrey Plaza, Jeff Garlin, Danny Trejo, and Bobcat Goldthwait.

In addition to Maron, the cast includes Judd Hirsch as Maron’s father, Nora Zehetner as Maron’s girlfriend, Andy Kindler as his close friend, and Josh Brener as his assistant.
