Okay, I won’t try to rhyme. I don’t have it in me. It’s just that it’s Dr. Seuss’s 109th birthday and it feels like we should party. In fact, libraries across the country are doing just that, with readings of Green Eggs and Ham, The Lorax, and The Cat in the Hat. So take a minute to say a quiet thank you to Theodor Seuss Geisel for making reading something kids want to do.
