While Madonna was taking selfies of her sweaty cleavage and posting them to her new-ish Instagram page this weekend, another music star was dipping his own toes into the photo-sharing site’s waters.

Yes, Justin Timberlake is now on Instagram — even though the site is owned by Facebook, archrival of Timberlake’s revamped Myspace. So far, Timberlake’s page features only classy black-and-white snapshots taken backstage at the Grammys, as well as a few photos of the artist’s retro-inspired performance itself:

Has Instagram become a must-have social network for modern celebrities? Maybe. While actors, musicians, and Kardashians like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Zooey Deschanel, Lena Dunham, and Kim K all have pages, Madonna and JT are probably the two highest-profile stars on the site so far, give or take one Beyoncé. Madge and Justin’s joining could well lead to a flock of new celebrity arrivals to the site — and as long as that means more shots like the ones above, we can’t exactly complain. Well, unless it instead leads to a sharp uptick in sweaty cleavage pics.
