Love watching talentless wannabes destroy your favorite pop songs while auditioning for singing shows, but hate how mean-spirited the whole enterprise can be?
Jimmy Fallon has the answer: a new game called “Sounds…Good?” in which he challenges audience members to sing radio hits while wearing noise-canceling headphones. The twist: As they’re crooning, a sound guy (dressed as a cowboy, because why not) randomly changes the song’s pitch up and down. Even a great singer wouldn’t sound good under these conditions — so the three contestants who stepped up to the plate last night had no chance.
Think the audience picked the right winner? Personally, I thought that “livin’ on a praaaaaayyyyer” screech deserved more recognition.
