'Breaking Bad' heavy cast in NBC's 'Bloodline'
Breaking Bad‘s lethal henchman is headed to NBC’s thriller pilot Bloodline.
Actor Jonathan Banks has accepted a central role in the project as the villainous Leo Killpriest, the patriarch of an ancient line of killers, brigands and mercenaries who’s worried that the last remaining members of his scattered family will be wiped off the face of the earth.
Bloodline is a comic-book-like stylized thriller about girl who finds herself caught in the middle of an epic struggle between two warrior families set against the backdrop of modern suburbia.
Banks is the latest Breaking Bad cast member to land a new project now that the AMC cult hit is winding down. Betsy Brandt joined NBC’s upcoming Michael J. Fox series and Anna Gunn was cast in Bravo’s Rita pilot.
