Need something to cover up the smell of diapers and baby wipes? Dolce & Gabbana is here to help.

Rumors are swirling that the Italian luxury brand is working on a perfume for tots after co-founder Stefano Gabbana posted a photo of a perfume bottle and what looks to be an ad campaign with the caption “Per i bimbi!!!” (Translation: For a baby.)

The fragrance will have hints of citrus, honey and melon, according to an item in The New York Daily News, which also includes this (unattributed) quote from Gabbana: “The softness of baby skin, the freshness of baby breath, a mother’s sweet hug, [and] the first smile were inspirations for the scent, meant to enhance the tot’s natural smell.”

Though this sounds like a joke, it seems that there’s a market for baby eau de toilette. Both Bulgari and Burberry already have perfumes pour les petites on the market.

How do you feel about the idea of a Dolce & Gabbana baby perfume? Do you secretly want to buy it for yourself (because I totally do).
