Fox orders 'Sleepy Hollow' pilot from 'Star Trek' team
More Fox pilot orders!
First up is Sleepy Hollow from the A-list writer-executive producer team of Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci (Star Trek). Logline: “A modern-day supernatural thriller based on the legend of Sleepy Hollow.” So, a tad vague on the details. Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard) will direct and executive produce. Heather Kadin is an executive producer and Phil Iscove is a writer and producer.
Next is Delirium from writer-executive producer Karyn Usher (Bones). Logline: “Based on bestselling trilogy about a world where love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway does the unthinkable: She falls in love.” Executive producers include Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope. Hm. What if you really love, say, riding jet skis? Or Belgian waffles? Is that banned too?
And finally (for now) The List from writer-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski (Lost). Logline: “When members of the Federal Witness Security Program start getting killed, US Marshal Dan Shaker leads the hunt for the person who stole “the list” – a file with the identities of every member of the program.” Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) is an executive producer.
The orders come on the heels — and by that we mean right on the heels — of Fox picking up Greg Kinnear’s House-like dramedy pilot and several comedy pilots. See those here.
