Breaking Bad actress Betsy Brandt is coming to NBC.

Brandt will play Michael J. Fox’s wife on his upcoming sitcom. On the as-yet-untitled show, Fox plays Mike Burnaby, a New York City newscaster who goes back to work and has to juggle his family, career and Parkinson’s disease. It marks the five-time Emmy winner’s first TV series starring role since ABC’s Spin City. “Michael came in and pitched us the show, and it’s completely inspired by his life as a father and a husband and a family man who is grappling with [Parkinson’s] disease,” NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt told reporters earlier this month.

Previously cast: Katie Finneran (I Hate My Teenage Daughter) will play Fox’s sister on the show, Wendell Pierce (Treme) will play his boss and Conor Romero (Person of Interest) will play his college drop-out son. NBC has ordered 22 episodes of the comedy, which is expected to air this fall.

Brandt’s run on Breaking Bad will conclude this summer when AMC airs the acclaimed hit’s final eight episodes.
