10 Years (2012, PG-13)

Trouble with the Curve (2012, PG-13)
Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams A crusty, old-school baseball scout (guess who?) reconnects with his daughter when his eyesight starts to fail. As syrupy and corny as a box of Cracker Jack. (Also on iTunes) C-

Total Recall (2012, PG-13)
Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale If you love Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ultraviolent, synapse-frazzling 1990 original (we’re guilty as charged), by all means steer clear of Farrell’s remake. (Also on iTunes) C

Sleepwalk With Me (2012, PG-13)
Mike Birbiglia, Lauren Ambrose Birbiglia adapts his one-man stage show about romance and his strange sleep disorder into a poignant, semiautobiographical indie gem. (Also on iTunes) A-

Flashdance (1983, R)
Jennifer Beals Bust out the torn sweatshirts and leggings and relive the ’80s — with Beals as a welder by day, exotic dancer by night. (Available on Netflix instant viewing) B

Coming Soon
Resident Evil: Retribution (2012, R)
Milla Jovovich The undead are hungrier than ever in the latest installment of this berserk action saga. B- 12/21

Killer Joe (2012, NC-17)
Matthew McConaughey A laconic Southern-fried hitman gets drawn into the messy lives of an amoral family in William Friedkin’s noir. Brutal and half-baked. C 12/21
