Looks like Arrested Development is being supersized. The beloved comedy that is getting a second life on Netflix this spring will expand its fourth season by a few episodes. Netflix confirmed a Deadline report about the additional episodes, but would not specify the exact amount being added to the 10-episode order. This was always a possibility, as Netflix originally said that season 4 will contain “at least” 10 episodes.

Production on the series was put on hold a few days ago so series creator/executive producer Mitchell Hurwitz and his writing team can work on incorporating additional story lines while reviewing the wealth of material that has been accumulated in recent months. Shooting is expected to resume next month.
