Grab your hankies, Gen Xers, ‘cus it’s about to get real nostalgic.

Friday night at KROQ’s 23rd Annual Almost Acoustic Christmas concert in Universal City, Ca., Bush singer Gavin Rossdale surprised the audience by bringing out his wife, Gwen Stefani, for a duet on Bush’s 1996 hit “Glycerine.”

The two ’90s icons have been married since 2002, but they first met in 1995 — at the very same KROQ Christmas show. Bush and Stefani’s band, No Doubt, went on tour together after the event, and the rest is…oh, you get it.

Listen closely — as the pair share a kiss at the end of the song, you can almost hear the collective “aw” of an entire generation.
