Not sure what to get the pop culture geek in your life this holiday season? PopStyle is here to help! From the hottest gadgets to the oddest collectibles, we’re rounding up the best gifts in movies, music, TV and books with our Gift of the Day.

When it comes to TV ratings, Nashville has developed something of a slow burn, but songs performed on the ABC series are on fire on the iTunes country charts.

According to EW’s own Ray Rahman, “You don’t have to like Nashville, or even watch Nashville,” to appreciate the music on the series soundtrack ($9.99; available for pre-order at bigmachinelabelgroup.com), produced by industry legend T Bone Burnett.

Cast members like Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere and Charles Eston prove they can do a whole lot more than act, singing tunes written by notable songwriters like The Civil Wars and Elvis Costello, and crossover favorites like Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts.
