If you’re a betting person, The-Dream has a hot Super Bowl tip for you: put your money on Beyoncé.
During a chat with Billboard, the producer also known as Terius Nash assured fans and onlookers that Bey would “definitely” have new music ready to go in time for her Super Bowl halftime performance, which will take place on Feb. 3 in New Orleans.
“She’s already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out,” he said. “I’m sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here.”
How does The-Dream know all this? Well, because he’s “involved in every part of the process” of Beyoncé’s next album. “She took the summer to start recording,” he said. “And now she’s in a place where she’s ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan.”
And if there’s anything that can get us even more excited about new material from Beyoncé, it’s knowing that The-Dream is a part of the process. As you likely know, Nash was one of the key writer-producers behind Bey’s 2008 smash “Single Ladies,” not to mention other favorites like “Run the World (Girls)” and “End of Time.”
Between all this, that upcoming HBO documentary of hers, and the imaginary playdates that we can only dream Blue Ivy and the other royal baby will have, it looks like 2013 is already shaping up to be a big year for Bey.
