And here it is. Angus T. Jones has issued a sweeping apology to all involved with his hit sitcom Two and a Half Men following his viral video sensation bashing the show. The actor’s publicist issued the following press statement via Deadline (plus there’s some analysis below):

Notice the actor walks a fine line here. He’s apologetic to all the people involved in making the show. But he doesn’t say anything to defend the show itself. Unlike Charlie Sheen, who attacked the show’s co-creator Lorre and CBS in addition to the hit series during his epic meltdown last year, Jones’ criticism was focused on the show’s content (calling it “filth,” etc.). The statement allows Jones to publicly amend for his comments, without actually reversing his position.
