Julie Delpy, Chris Rock An amusingly daffy sequel to 2007’s 2 Days in Paris, starring Delpy and Rock as lovers whose peace is disrupted by her visiting French family. (Also on iTunes) B+

Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter Director Amy Heckerling’s reunion with Clueless leading lady Silverstone is a girl-power vampire comedy without bite. C

Minds in the Water (2012, Not Rated)
A call-to-arms documentary about Dave Rastovich, a surfer with more on his mind than just hanging ten. Namely, saving dolphins, whales, and our oceans. (Also on iTunes) B

The Postman always rings twice (1946, Not Rated)
Lana Turner, John Garfield The hard-boiled gem about a drifter, a knockout, and the pesky husband standing in their way debuts on Blu-ray. A

The Ambassador (2012, Not Rated)
Mads Brügger Part muckraking exposé, part gonzo prank, this take on colonialism has Brügger posing as an amoral diplomat in one of the most corrupt and dangerous places in the world: the Central African Republic. Move over, Sacha Baron Cohen. (Available on Netflix instant viewing) A-
