The spirit of the holiday season has sparked another connection between iconic Disney characters and modern-day fashion designers.

Harrods, like Barneys New York, has adopted a Disney theme for its holiday campaign. The world-famous U.K. department store will feature modern interpretations of classic princess gowns — imagined by 10 of the leading designers in the industry — in its window displays.

Jenny Packham’s edgy dress for Rapunzel (pictured above), Versace’s Cinderella ball gown, Elie Saab’s pale pink, beaded number for Sleeping Beauty‘sAurora, and Marchesa’s mermaid dress for The Little Mermaid‘sAriel are my favorites, while , Roberto Cavalli’s Pocahontas, and Ralph & Russo’s Tiana are completely on-brand. Missoni’s Mulan, Valentino’s Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Escada’s Jasmine, and Oscar de la Renta’s Snow White more closely resemble the original getups, but are exquisite and unique, nonetheless.

Harrods will unveil the designs in its Knightsbridge store windows on Nov. 1.
