Drake is officially a high school graduate. The artist formerly known as Aubrey Graham tweeted yesterday that he passed his finals and earned his diploma: “97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!”

The 25-year-old rapper originally dropped out of high school in 2001 to pursue a role on Canada’s Degrassi: The Next Generation. His stint as the series’ wheelchair-bound Jimmy Brooks lasted until 2009 – since then he’s gone on to, you know, sell 5 million albums.

This summer he took a break from touring to complete his credits at Vaughan Road Academy in Ontario. But even Drizzy needed some old-fashioned academic guidance. He made sure to acknowledge one teacher who was particularly helpful: “Thank you to my teacher Kim Janzen for spending the last 5 months working tirelessly with me!!”

I think Ms. Janzen just became the most popular teacher in school.
