A crew member has died on the set of Johnny Depp’s The Lone Ranger, EW has confirmed.

“We regretfully confirm that a Lone Ranger crew member has passed away after being taken to a local hospital. Our hearts and thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues at this time, and our full support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this terrible event,” Walt Disney Studios said in a statement.

According to TMZ, who first reported the news, a diver was cleaning a tank to be used during filming. Others on set pulled him from the water after noticing there were no air bubbles coming from his gear, but he was in full cardiac arrest by the time EMTs got to the scene.
