Tuesdays are going to be a battleground for comedy fans. That’s when New Girl and The Mindy Project will go head to head against Happy Endings and Don’t Trust The B–. And that already-intense decision isn’t even taking into account other comedies, like Go On and The New Normal on NBC.  (NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS and Emily Owens, M.D. on the CW round out the 9 p.m. hour).

Even with a DVR, it’s going to be tough. I’m a big fan of New Girl and Happy Endings already, and while I would normally alternate between watching one live and DVRing the other, the addition of already-season-passed The Mindy Project (whose pilot you can watch here) means I’m already running out of time on Tuesday nights. I’m really hoping that one of these shows gets shuffled, otherwise I’m going to be spending a solid three hours – or more – watching comedies. And while there is nothing I would like more than to watch an endless loop of Schmidt, Penny, Jess, Nick, Alex, and the rest, I know I’m not alone in feeling like there is just way too much TV, and way too little time.

What’s your Tuesday night schedule looking like? And what show are you most excited about?
