With only eight episodes remaining and brother-in-law Hank finally on to him, is the clock about to run out on Breaking Bad’s Walter White…as in, is he finally doomed to die? But more important than that, do we want him to die? EW’s own Dan Snierson and Melissa Maerz join me on this week’s edition of the InsideTV Podcast to break down the last Breaking Bad episode of the year. Is Walt’s cancer back? Will Hank finally take down Heisenberg? And what sort of misery will befall Jesse next? We have theories! Listen in as we discuss how TV’s best drama may — or may not — wrap things up.

Then, Mandi Bierly stops by to preview the upcoming season 5 of Sons of Anarchy and offer up intel on the two big new characters played by Jimmy Smits and Harold Perrineau. We’ve seen the first two (excellent) episodes and provide some teases and clues on what to expect. (If you want to skip straight to the Sons of Anarchy discussion, it begins at 14:00.)

Finally, we call up Annie Barrett to get her insight on the new X Factor judges panel. Will the addition of Britney Spears and Demi Lovato make the show…um, watchable? Is it worth giving The X Factor another shot? And who the hell is hosting this show now anyway? We get into all of that and more — like which show will come out on top: The X-Factor or The Voice. (The X Factor chat starts at 26:00.)

You can also download the entire podcast right here. And to send a question to the InsideTV Podcast team, follow us on Twitter @InsideTVPodcast. But first let us know what you think. Are you rooting for Walt, or rooting for Walt to die? Will Clay turn over a new leaf on Sons of Anarchy? And will you bother tuning into the new and (maybe) improved X-Factor?
