• Lithe rebel Evan Rachel Wood is in talks to star as a female trucker in 18 Wheel Butterfly, a road movie set in 1977 Texas with Twin Falls Idaho‘s Michael Polish attached to direct. Scribed by Christian Divine, it’s slated as having a Thelma and Louise feel. Wood would take on the role of falsely accused Rainbeaux, who flees from law enforcement, bounty hunters and other truckers. The movie sounds like a perfect fit for Wood, known for her snarling charm on True Blood and as an intern in last year’s The Ides of March. [Variety]
