Usher awarded primary custody of sons
Usher was given primary custody of his sons by an Atlanta court Friday.
The new custody arrangement involving Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 3, will begin on Sept. 1, according to the Associated Press. Usher — whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, separated from the boys’ mother, Tameka Foster Raymond, in 2008.
Usher and Raymond will share joint legal custody.
The court decision comes after the passing of Kyle Glover, Usher’s 11-year-old stepson who died following a tragic jet ski accident on July 6. Raymond was Kyle’s biological mother.
