Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Faris The Borat star’s latest high-concept farce, about a delusional tyrant lost in that great Satan, America, is a DOA dud. (Also on iTunes) C-

A Separation (2011, PG-13)
Leila Hatami, Peyman Moadi An Iranian husband and wife grapple with the complications of a bitter split in Asghar Farhadi’s twisty and terrific best-foreign-film Oscar winner. (Also on iTunes) A

My Son John (1952, Not Rated)
Robert Walker, Helen Hayes Director Leo McCarey’s powerful Cold War-era drama about a young man whose Communist sympathies clash with his conservative parents’ values gets a long-overdue Blu-ray release. Walker’s final performance, before his tragic death at age 32, is a smug, smarmy delight. A-
