Morgan Spurlock is heading to CNN.

The network announced today that the Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker will helm a new series, set to debut April 2013, titled Inside Man. As the title hints, the show will deep-dive into the lives of lesser-seen characters of American culture — like marijuana growers, migrant farm workers, and end-of-life caregivers.

Spurlock’s show is the the latest move in the cable net’s expansion, which also includes a previously announced series from Anthony Bourdain. The new program is set to air weekends alongside Bourdain’s food and travel series.

Spurlock’s last TV gig was his FX series 30 Days, which ended in 2008.
