Tom Arnold steps in as Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard's sex coach

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell seem like the perfect Hollywood couple (remember how cute this was?), but that doesn’t mean the engaged pair are always perfect together.
A rough patch seems to have sprung up on set of their upcoming film, Hit and Run. In a new Funny or Die sketch, we see Shepard and Bell suffering from some pretty serious intimacy issues while shooting some of the film’s love scenes. The two fumble and flop around in bed turning in a supposedly steamy sequence that could double as the work of a couple of braced-faced teens.
So, they do what any couple looking to spice things up in the bedroom would…enlist the services of a love doctor well-versed in all things amorous to help them along the way. Enter Tom Arnold, sex coach.
Check out the video below to see if Arnold’s, uhm, hands-on approach can guide his young pupils to sexual satisfaction.
Needless to say, awkward hilarity ensues. The 53-year-old Arnold, who is co-starring in the film, relays some sound and simple advice (“Get up in each other’s sh–“), while also offering up his own body as a type of training canvas for Shepard (I’m going to go ahead and let that mental image sink in).
Hit and Run is set to open in theaters Aug. 22.
