American Idol Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery couldn’t quite find his footing last Friday while opening for country superstar Brad Paisley in Bethel, N.Y. The 18-year-old fell off the stage while performing. Unfazed by the slip, he then literally rolled back up onto the platform and continued belting Travis Tritt’s “T.R.O.U.B.L.E.”

The baby-faced country crooner jokingly blamed the slip-up on Paisley, tweeting that the singer had pranked him and “narrowed up the stage” for his last song.

Paisley punk’d his tourmate again the following night, lining the stage with traffic cones and caution tape. The vicious pranking cycle began when McCreery dressed up as Paisley during a previous performance. The pair clearly know how to keep each other on their toes.

Watch the video of the performance and tumble (at 8:15) below.
