Crime-fiction author Michelle Gagnon is making her YA debut later this month with Don’t Turn Around. The first book in a planned trilogy, Don’t Turn Around follows 16-year-old Noa, a computer hacker who uses her skills to stay off the grid, safely anonymous. But everything changes after she wakes up on a table in a warehouse with an IV sticking out of her hand. A series of events leads her to Peter Gregory, the leader of a hacker alliance. And with Peter’s life being threatened by a questionable corporation, the two quickly realize they need each other more than they  know.

I’m new to Gagnon’s books, but as a devourer of all things YA, I can say that it won’t be easy to put Don’t Turn Around down once you start. Here we can exclusively debut the trailer for Don’t Turn Around (out Aug. 28), and after that you can read the first two chapters of the book. Let us know in the comments what you think.
